State administered abuse. I am so glad I was a 80s kid, I'd have never survived the 90s. The vast majority of those kids were just "jackass kids" (ie normal) but when teachers and other school people realized they could be given the power to dope them into compliance rather than putting up with their crap, all those brave and noble public school employee's checked an iffy "symptoms list" and got those kids strung out on on all kinds of shit.

I grew up in the 60's-70's and honestly I remember pinging off anything moving. Studying spelling, a bird flew by, I wish I could fly, go look out the window and BUSTED !
If I told you how my Dad cured that for me, you would call it abuse, but it worked.

The war on drugs was lost a long time ago. Even if we could stop it coming in, the powers that be won’t let that happen. Everyone makes money, the cartels, the dea, border patrol, cia etc. To much money to be made in allowing it to continue

2020 was absolutely lit with drunk driving fatalities in SC, particularly in the second half after the “lockdown” ended. Sadly, many of those fatalities were victims of drunken murderers.

It was so appalling I decided I missed war.

One of the articles I read indicated the upturn started around 2008/2009.

Covid mention reminded me it was Colorado who used an alcohol poisoning death to pump the covid stats.
