    Polish Beryl 762 S M1 AK

I just picked up this new Polish Beryl AK variant. Unlike a typical Beryl that's chambered in 5.56x45, this one is chambered in 7.62x39. The story is that Nigeria had a special variant make for them that's chambered in 7.62x39, so this is the non-fun switch version of that. I did purchase a Beryl retractable stock for it, but I'll swap it out after I have a chance to test fire it.

That would be the only one I'd want.

The only 5.45x45 AK pattern rifles I own are my SIGs, FNC and Galil. The only one I still need is a Valmet. And honestly, if I could get a Valmet in 7.62x39 I'd do it. Other than those, all of my AKs are x39 calibers.

You seriously have a nice collection of Warsaw Pact rifles.

Thanks. I've been collecting them for over thirty years, and they keep on coming home with me.

I have that problem with HKs.

I bought the 762 version a few months ago as well. I haven't shot it yet as a few days after picking it up I was in a motorcycle accident and I'm still in PT. Very much looking forward to a long overdue range day!

Build quality and fit/finish look excellent, certainly above and beyond any of my Arsenals. I have high hopes for this one.
