    Servicios Aventuras small pistol primers

    Has anyone tried these?

I just placed an order. $250 for 5000. Couldn't pass that up. Google search indicates mixed reviews, especially with older batches

I was wondering if anyone here has tried some of the more recent ones

After the ginex primers, I'm not too confident with some of these imports. But I read an article where all ammo is expected to go yet higher due to the stretched supply with the Ukraine nonsense going on.

I will hand prime these. Usually light strikes are the result of me not fully seating the primer. Most of the reports regarding these primers are positive

I also saw the article on the expected increase in ammo prices. Not good. Things were just starting to recover from the COVID craziness

I have a problem in my Ruger Security 380auto with them But not in my G19, my AR9 or my 357mag.

I thought for sure like everyone else that it was the primers were not seated fully. So I took 100 cases and primed them on my old Pacific press as you can adjust primer depth with the pin. All 100 were seated very well below the case head. I still had misfires in the 380.

FWIW, I got some of the green box ones from Powder Valley, no problem in my S&W Model 28, 50/out of 50 loaded on my Dillon 550B. My CZ P-09 only had 1 failure to fire out of 120 9mm’s. But my Glock 48 had 6 or 7 out of 30 fail to fire. I believe these primers prefer hammers to strikers. (My Glock 48 is less than a year old with around 1,000 rounds fired, has been 100% with Federal, S&B, CCI, Winchester and Fiocchi primers).

Disappointing to hear that they didn't function reliably in your Glock. Might want to try a Wolff extra power 6 lb striker spring

No kidding. The Ginex primers were acting up in our Hammer fired guns. 9mm 1911 and a Hi Power. I'm hoping those work good in striker guns.

I have some of the Ginex as well. Only shot about 20 through a Glock 19 with 6 lb striker spring. They went bang
