    It’s like I was telling a good friend of mine…..let it go man!

    That was in 2001 when S&W was owned by a British firm! Times have changed. The lock is ugly but S&W’s modern revolvers are high quality. Certainly as good as the new Colt Python I bought in 2020. I was also comparing it to my friend’s Ruger Redhawk and GP100 at my club and I think it’s superior to those pieces.

    I wish they would remove the lock going forward but I can only imagine the press that would get. S&W now making their guns unsafe! Or god forbid a kid gets hurt with a lockless gun and the family sues. Now they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
