IIRC the grip angle was almost identical to the Luger and was chosen for pointability. Not that different from SIGs, Beretta and HKs unless you grew up on 1911s. Even Beretta had to come up with a more 1911 esq grip for those who are unable to adapt.

    1) Develop a series of PCC's in 9mm, 10mm, and .45 acp that use current off the shelf magazines. Put R&D on making some real hi-cap mags for the carbines.
    2) Put some effort in to making some non plastic sights that Are adjustable and significantly less cheap than what's on there now.
3)Put some effort behind R&D development of a Rifle Caliber Carbine.

    1. No more plastic sights
    2. Switches now come standard so that China is beat at their own game. If you live in a country stupid enough to restrict rapid semi auto? Tough shit.

Yep, I've not shot a gLoCk in years and don't own one, but when you are drawing and shooting on a timer, for score, the difference makes a difference.

Your muscle memory is tuned to doing it one way and the time it takes to recognize you're doing it wrong and making the adjustment can ruin a run through a course. In real life, with other factors involved, it may matter even more.......so I simply avoid them. Lots of other great options out there.

ETA: Obviously if you are standing in front of a 7 yard target, plinking, it isn't an issue and you probably won't even notice the difference. You don't notice it until you compete and only after you've shot enough with something else, to develop muscle memory for doing it one way.

The slide to frame angle is tied to the magazine. Adding/removing material on the front and rear of the grip would be the only way to change the angle which would likely bring on other ergonomic issues.

So far the 3 or 4 different copies I have handled had a better/more rounded feel to me, but that was based on just a few minute each handling and only shooting a PSA Dagger(which had a better trigger imo) so more screwing around with any/all of them might reveal ergonomic downsides.

The only obvious issue to me on each was the artistic trigger guards that screw up one of the Glock perks of holster options.

Build the original G17... the one that didn't have extraction issues. Slim the line of models WAY down. Give a big middle finger to the mongoloids who expect a miracle new gun every shot show.

Really a dumb question about mounting optics, why not just something like a 1913 rail, parallel to the long axis of the slide?
Offers lateral stability and the fore/aft stability is provided by the slide cut. Mill the rail so that the screws go into the rail, thus avoiding penetrating the actual slide.

Someone is going to steal is idea, aren't they?
