Truman had balls, but the only balls Kennedy had were the ones he used to screw his way into getting blackmailed. Man didn't have a spine for anything other than cheating on his wife. He, and that bastard McNamara, were terrified that they'd actually have to do anything in Cuba, and objectively left our position weaker in regards to the Soviets than it had been before the Missile Crisis. (we withdrew weapons from Turkey, and also ensured Cuba was an involatile base for further communist aggression in the Western Hemisphere) And that was on top of allowing the Wall to be built in Berlin, and setting up the Cuban exiles for failure (and ensuring it did fail)

It disgusts me how much people idolize him for no damn good reason other than he looked good on TV.
It's f*****g great, putting holes in people, all the time, and it just puts 'em down mate, they drop like sacks of s**t when they go down with this.

I'll say this though, he'd never get the nomination in today's Democratic Party. Not enough of a loon-ball to satisfy modern liberals.

Eh, he'd just change up his messaging. JFK was a snake, and played on what was popular at the time. Folks were worried by the steady advance of Communism, so he billed himself as an ardent anti-communist. He practically invented the "missile gap" out of whole cloth. If he ran today, he'd be as leftist looney as he thought it would prove politically advantageous.

Can someone please tell me why the Demoshits are sooooo pussified when it comes to military responses? I swear to God if you looked back over the years starting with pussy Carter, every fvcking POS Democrat administration has always held back and only prolonged/exacerbated the problem at hand by being spineless cowards. My God I HATE the left.
It infuriates me that Kirby stands up there and says "We're not gonna telegraph our punches..." then they proceed to telegraph their punches. Feckless bastages!

It’s so cute that we allow the Brits to send a couple of last generation fighters to drop a couple bombs…

I do like the use of the submarines. That is definitely going asymmetrical on them. They don’t have any real ability to threaten that platform.

I don’t like using expensive weapons on them. Let’s re-create the Vietnam era, Arclight missions and just start tearing up square kilometers.

Time to start giving the kurds some toys to play with in northern Iran.

The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.
