US STATEMENT: ATTACK ON AL-ASSAD AIRBASE, IRAQ
"At approximately 6:30 p.m. (Baghdad time) time Jan. 20, multiple ballistic missiles and rockets were launched by Iranian-backed militants in Western Iraq targeting al-Assad Airbase.
Most of the missiles were intercepted by the base’s air defense systems while others impacted on the base. Damage assessments are ongoing.
A number of U.S. personnel are undergoing evaluation for traumatic brain injuries. At least one Iraqi service member was wounded."

Ecclesiastes 10:2:
Okay, but starting at least with Carter it applies (some will argue JFK was the last one to have international balls).
Don't think FDR had much of a choice since Pearl Harbor forced his hand. Given the state of the economy at the time a massive war, while no doubt necessary, also checked the "put the economy on steroids" box. FDR was essentially a socialist as I'm sure we all know. That is why he is idolized by Democrats; not so much for WWII but his "saving the country" from the Great Depression. Even JFK, martyred though he was, isn't worshipped by the Left like FDR.

F**k China!
I do not understand the hesitance (fear?) of the U.S. to retaliate against Iran for the past 45 years. I just don't get it. That includes, [obviously] pussy Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Obunghole, Trump (yea, even Lord Cheeto although I give him credit for whacking Soleimani), and of course FJB.
I just don't get it. Are they some unstoppable, unkillable juggernaut we've not been told about?
