I use CNN as a gauge for where the Powers that Be are trying to focus our attention, and they aren’t covering it all it seems with any focus- that means that that this isn’t part of the Plan.

Yes, and It's not limited to party either. Reagan had his issues, but he took on the Libyans when they wanted to screw around with us. But then he screwed the pooch with Lebanon.

The biggest reason I can think of not to retaliate is that we will accomplish nothing.
We don’t have the fortitude to win, and will just waste lives and resources instead of fighting to win. So we’ll accomplish nothing, and Iran will just wait us out because they know we don’t have the will to win. It’s not even a complicated strategy for them, just endure long enough for our political class to grow weak. There’s a 100% chance our politicians will live up to that expectation.
Since we’ll screw it up, it’s probably time to consider other options like getting out of the area.

We’re going to give. Simple as that.
This country has no backbone anymore, our people won’t stand up and fight for anything even in our own backyard on our own border.
No point in wasting lives in the Middle East right now.
The Middle East of course won’t leave us alone, but until a bunch more Americans die on our own soil we’ll remain spineless. Even after an attack that wakes up the pieces of shit we share this “country” with the average tard will only stay engaged for maybe 2 years before they forget and want to go back to being ‘tarded and weak. The only solace is that the most likely target for another terror attack is a large urban area full of leftist shits, so at least they’ll get to reap the rewards of their weakness and stupidity first.
