    Polytech folding spike.

Top eject so it's guaranteed to bonk you with empties. A sliding cover on the ejection port that says,"Smile, wiat for flash."

And, yes. YES. "wait" is misspelled ;-)

What about an assisted lever? Maybe the recoil of the bolt can be dissipated by a hydraulic system which pre-loads the lever so you you touch it to load. It also needs to swing out and back with dangerous force.

Also, and I can't believe I forgot this FOLDING AND TELESCOPING STOCK with SCAR style integrated adjustable cheek rest. F it, were going full UGG boot.
Let those who are fond of blaming and finding fault, while they sit safely at home, ask, ‘Why did you not do thus and so?’I wish they were on this voyage; I well believe that another voyage of a different kind awaits them.”

Folding telescope? Easy, just put a vertical rail on the rear of the chassis and snap on a Midwest MI-STAP-SF and any AR telestock. See my Charger MWS if you need a visual.

Especially if it's done in a way you can change barrel lengths or calibers just by swapping interchangeable front halves and bolts. Think like the levergun equivalent of a QRB or Dolos-equipped AR.

The skull needs to double as a bottle opener. And the blade needs to be OTF with an especially loud “schh-lickkk”.

I'm thinking a Bullpup, magazine fed, but the lever is on the forend, so you work it with your support hand, that way there can be a pistol grip for your firing hand, there will need to be complicated long linkage for the lever to work the action all the way back at the rear.
