Some of us moderators got it as well, we got one a few months ago.

Some of us also thought these emails didn't look legit and we dismissed it. Some were brave enough to click it but couldn't get very far.

We were told by the "new" owners that they're running a beta test site and to expect it. Even with that notice, the email looked fishy. We thought the beta test was for the moderators only. But since some non mod members received the invitation, either it's a glitch or the new owners don't know who's the moderators and who's not. They're just randomly emailing members.

    We are frustrated.

I've gotten a couple of those emails as well. Thought they were odd.
It's f*****g great, putting holes in people, all the time, and it just puts 'em down mate, they drop like sacks of s**t when they go down with this.

Could just be they're randomly inviting users to Beta, but what I find hinky there is most beta invites also ask for feedback and this was more "congrats, you're in, have fun playing in the sandbox kiddo."

I’ve received the same emails, 1 to my personal email and one to my DOD email (which I’ve never used on any forum site).
