I thought it went off the rails on episode 9.
I'm sorry half of all of the "Facts" have been found not to be "Facts" and Clinton, the DNC and Obama own all of that.

    That was a dirty election.
Blaming Trump because all of that removes Hillary's blame for being hated by Putin and the dirt she paid to tie Trump to Russia.

We do have a free press, that does mean they will source Russia and that does mean Putin was able to influence the election. And I don't remember anyone blaming Trump, they basically said Putin hated Clinton / Obama so he spent a lot of money releasing things that put them in a bad light hoping it would help Trump. More importantly, it never said the things he released were not true, only that they influenced the election.

And it doesn't relieve Hillary / Obama of responsibility, you simply have to decide do you blame Hillary / Obama or do you blame Putin.

    Well, it is CNN; right?
I just felt like they had no reason to bring Trump's name in on it at all, but to do so and then not also mention it was all cooked up by Clinton, kind of provides shde for her.

They had to talk about Putin because he's part of the Cold War Redux, which means they tad to talk about Clinton / Obama and since Trump benefited from Putin's hatred of Clinton / Obama they had to mention Trump. And they used CNN as a source for what they were talking about.

I know every time you anyone mentions those names people get a little "flinchy" but they are part of the ongoing Cold War so there is no way to not talk about that subject without them.

    Umm, what?

While pro Putin sources did pay for online and social media messaging, it was determined to be an insignificantly small amount of money compared to what was spent on the election.

First off it has never been proven that the leaked emails were from the Russians, and not from a domestic source. In all likelihood, it actually was a domestic source.

Putin, nor any other foreign actor ever released the missing emails from Hillary. We all know that they have them.

The only release of information that could be directly tied to Russian assets, was the disinformation against Trump.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

Ok take a breath and just read.

Putin didn't have to be the one releasing missing emails. Putin put out stories ABOUT the missing emails. Just as China has an entire section of the military devoted to online ****ery, Putin certainly has a directive devoted to propaganda. The fact that the US has a free press means those stories will get picked up and promoted and not just online sources like Twatter.

To put it in a context you can understand, Churchill and Ed Murrow BOTH influenced the 1940 election by talking about the war. They influenced some people to think we should get involved and they made others think we should avoid the European war at all costs. To think the shit Putin says and does doesn't have a direct effect on US elections is illogical.

The important thing is influencing opinion is quite different from somehow subverting and election which is what most people want to believe Putin actually did and there is no evidence of that.
