In my small town we had Kresge's, and yeah before every place had a mall, it was an in house department store and only thing I wanted to know is "where is the toy department." Of course when I was in Lionel Playworld, unless it was the week before Christmas, it was "hurry up and get what you need so we can go."

Amen- My wife and I produced three fine humans. I am glad I have someone to lean on when I get older. My closest friend is childless by no choice of his own and it crushes him and his wife that they couldn't have kids. After completely getting F'd by various adoption and foster programs due to his military career, he gave up when he retired from the AF. He's now pushing 60 and wishes they'd adopted a couple kids when he was 40 and no longer tied to the AF. Luckily, things have changed in the last 20 years and it's easier for people to adopt while active duty.

Humans, generally but with exceptions, are shitty. They are shitty by default. It's the standard. The typical, normal condition. However many are bred around the world the majority are shitty. Thus, the more people, the more shitty people.

Yeah...this. It could be a really nice place if everyone put in the minimum effort of humanity.

I attempt to be nice to everyone until I discover that my efforts are completely wasted and / or it is just motivating somebody to see it as some kind of weakness.
