Were these relatively recent issues or in years past?

Why do you keep buying them?

I snagged two of those and couldn’t see any blem.

One was fine but the other wouldn’t allow any empty magazine to seat even with the bolt locked to the rear on any lower I tried including Colt and LMT lowers.

Blem isn’t always cosmetic I guess.

I was wondering the same. After the first two, I'd be extremely sceptical.

Yes, the BCM blems have been my go to's for my past few builds. But I'm a mix and match kind of guy so my my last lower was a Geissele blem and it fits nicely with the BCM blem...

Zev bought Mega awhile back. Mega makes the receivers for Zev, SOLGW and others. Fit and finish is superb. They have a deeper dark and almost shiny color to them. Upper to lower fit is tight. And the uppers are thermal fit.

BCM is also really good. The finish is the standard milspec. Upper is thermal fit. Upper to lower fitment is not as tight as the Mega stuff, but not loose by any stretch

Centurion - Same as the BCM. I have a few of these and have not had the issues that others have had. Which sucks. Would piss me off as well.

I would use any of them again. Key to me is the thermal fit uppers. I prefer that.

I've used a couple Mega lowers for builds, and will probably use another one in the future. I've never handled an AR receiver that's machined or finished to a higher standard.
