    The barrel is a Noveske so I should be OK with wolf or silver bear.

    If the barrel is a Noveske you should be fine with the wolf/silver bear, as it is likely chrome lined. The main issue most refer to regarding wolf and such is the excessive residue that is a by-product as a result of the powder.

    It can be an issue as far as chamber cleanliness, as well as corrosive to the barrel lining if not cleaned often. Chrome lined barrels are more resistant to both wear and the corrosive effects of that powder.

    Bottom line: Russian derived ammo is often dirty.
