Good deal - this is the SHOT Show coverage I look for every year since my employer stopped sending me back in '05. Next year, I'll see for myself, but your pictures are the end-all, be-all of What-We-Want-To-See SHOT Show goodies.

    Thanks!

Desert Tactical brought their slightly revised sniper platform from last year, recently featured in a well known gun magazine, Desert Tactical got some serious interest at SHOT this year.

Notice the sniper system is very handy and compact compare to a standard rifle configuration.

The rear plate is now redesigned to be removeable via a locking tab. much easier from the original design.

The Bolt is marked so you can identify the correct bolt for your conversion.

Magazine for 338 and 308. simple but effective.

Ambi magazine release was added the platform for added egronomics for left hand shooters

thread protector for the short barrel gun,

The muzzle brake has the same thread so you can use either a suppressor or the OEM muzzle brake on it. possible future developement is a Desert Tactical's suppressor to complete thir package.

    HK MR556 at SHOT....

Rumor to be 3600.00 retail most likely production in 2010.

Back to Tangodown Battlegrip for US import compliance.

At least they made it for 5.56 chamber.

    Interesting charging handle

Now the 308 version is interesting, if they canmake this for 3600, I might be interest in one...

    Nice fat buffer tube...

    Insight Technology at SHOT...

    USSOCOM SOPMOD2 VBL3 weapon light and AN/PEQ15

    Switch pad for PEQ15

Big and thick switch but supposedly TangoDown has a vertical conversion kit to retrofit this blocky pad onto their Insight switch pocket VFG.

Insight's LED weapon light with their rifle kit.

Colt brought out the SCW---Sub-Compact Weapon

This little puppy features an revised DI gas layout, a proprietary gas regulator sleeve that fits into the front sight, which you can pull the sleeve/gas tube out like a piston rod. it is supposed to helplessen gas port erosion over the life of the gun while it can increasing weapon reliability and durability.

This can also be fitted with the Colt's new piston system, completely revised system from the 1020/M5, Colt learn the falut with those system and redesign the new CPS. this new system features an articulating link piston rod, it is a very interesting concept....from the words of Colt engineers, this system is bullet proof....

    Compare to a standard 16inch M4

    Stock folded
