I find it hard to believe that Lewis needs a survey to see if they should build a 7.62.

If they don't make it soon I am going to take a harder look at the LaRue Stealth OSR.

I think the survey is more for what most people would want in the first run. Personally, I would like to see them do a Chrome Lined Battle rifle design that's reliable (piston if needed). There are tons of AR-10's made for precision.
LMT, I have no doubt, would make a badass rifle.

OP mentioned that it was MRP (interchangeable barrels) which begs the question: Other calibers?

I handled that rifle at SHOT, and if they make it, I'll buy three of them.

That's the way I answered the survey. A 16" chrome-lined, piston MRP CQB with a SOPMOD would be titties and beer.

I see why the survey was needed now. I was thinking 18-20" CL, A2 or RPK type stock pictured , gas ....... would be tits for me.

I got a chance to shoot Karl's 7.62 MRP. Nice gun, and with his price point (he told me dealer as we get along well with him ) I think he will obliterate the AR10 and DPMS market.
He had an auto gun as well to kick the crap out of the design, and see its long term reliability quicker. He said he want not sure a piston was a good idea even in 5.56mm so the 7.62 was not getting a piston anytime soon.
    I wish him well.

I can live without the piston...they just need to get the damn thing out before it's banned.

+100 I would love to own one and the only way that will be possible is if they build them NOW!
