Pat showed us one of these in his December class. IIRC it had external adjustments like the Elcan.

Are there other photos available? Does the built in mount put it on the same plane or lower third when mounted on an AR flattop? I do not know what the Swedes are mounting it on.

I heard about this RDS a while back but have never actually seen one for real or otherwise. If you think about it, if that battery has a 10-year life what are the chances that you'd need to replace it yourself?

I wonder if it comes with any free battery changes or you have to pay and if so, how much?

The CS will not co-witness on AR type rifles. It sits lower. The CS was built for the FNC, AK5. It would however be a great choice for other platforms.

I wonder if this sight would be perfect mounted atop a G-3.

Not sure why a non-replaceable battery other than a Swedish military requirement. However, it can be replaced at the factory if required.

This a great sight and deal. Again this is a one time only sale as they were production over runs. They won't be offered again.

Is it possible to put this on a short riser and have a lower 1/3rd co-witness on a flat top AR?
Also, seems interesting that these are 26mm vs the Aimpoint standard 30 mm. Any reason why they did that?

In fact the Swedish Army Uses the CS on there G-3 rifles with the 3X mag As there DMR. It is a sweet set up.

They weld a bit of "pic" rail to the top, and cut off the iron sights.
