Bit of necroposting here..

Just wanted to add some information regarding the CS sight.

I've used it on our Ak4B (modified G3) Ak5C (latest modification of the Swedish version of the FN FNC) and also our Ksp90B (FN Minimi PARA).

As noted it is very durable and i've seen very few sights that have been non-functional.

I've never seen the Aimpoint magnifier issued in any larger scale, not saying that it hasn't been issued to some units but i've never-ever seen one that has been issued.

I wouldn't mind a lighter sight, our Ak5C is quite heavy as it is, adding a heavy sight makes it even heavier of course.
But i rather have it heavier and durable then light and not as durable.
