That's not a good enough deal. If your going to get a Larue Mount I'd buy right from Larue. The whole package is $874.00 ..That's with a 195.00 Mount..You do the math on the scope price..Like $680.00 for the scope

I shoot and own the green ones, with the post/triangle
    very fast.

the biggest factor is the green as very littel to no washout with white/led light
and is brighter in low light and penetrates the deep dark spots of foliage much better

I never said about anything about a 'good deal' for said Trijicon. I simply stated that it was "in stock."

I didn't accuse you of saying it's a good deal. I was warning you it wasn't. Why would you think what you thought??

I personally don't think you can go wrong what ever you buy.. My eyes seem to like the Amber-but that's not to say they wouldn't have liked the Green also. I may even get the green triangle this fall-when the prices stabilize. Who knows..For now I have a New toy and my mount from Larue is due today. So hopefully I'll be cracking the whip by early evening.

If your getting the cross hairs the dot is so tiny that in a stress situation you'll never see it..Besides the cross hairs are really cool. After playing with this for a few days I am really happy I got the cross hairs over the posts. Just line up the middle and bang. You'll see you more or less forget there a dot that's illuminated. Near dusk it's nice to have ..But otherwise you barely see it.

I really think Trijicon did a good job thinking this scope out. I honestly feel a lot of extra on the lens would be to much clutter. I am happy..I know you will like it.alot also.

I recently got the 3-9 amber chevron
I like it but for the intended use of the gun, a 6.8 with a 16" barrel, the 1-4 would be a better choice as it will be used primarily for hunting, deer and hogs, but hogs more

I did get two hogs with it last Friday but it was so thick and close I couldn't get on some running hogs at 25 yards, they jumped through about a 20ft gap in the trees, a red dot would have been better (or a shotgun!)
