Very true. And good for you on reading books. I have only watched the show which I am guessing doesn't line up.

I do normally like the books better, sometimes the shows or movies will get close but hard to capture everything.

I quit the whole thing when John Snow was murdered in book 7. Seven books in and nothing happened. I was so frustrated, I almost threw my phone across the hangar (was listening to the books on Audible while working on helicopters).

Yeah book is way different than the show. Hope it was an older phone.. threw my phone once. Immediately thiught it was a bad idea to throw something that would cost me hundreds of dollars to replace lol.
