    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    That would make a very interesting SBR, with a Noveske 12.5" barrel and a Switchblock.

    Are the barrels a proprietary design along the lines of the MRP or have they devised a way to allow the use of std barrel assemblies?

    Nevermind. Found the answer on Mega's Website. Proprietary Barrel Nut BUT Std Barrels. This could be very promising. I also like the fact that they went with 7075 Vs 6061- I don't think strength or flexing will be an issue. Hopefully the barrel nut will be sufficiently designed/engineered and user friendly. Looking forward to more photos and details from SHOT.

    Standard barrels with a unique barrel nut, and each comes with its own tool for installation.
