I like the TA11B. Yeah, it's big, but the eye relief is good, acquisition is fast due to the circle (if that's what you like), and I have worked out the aiming points on the reticule out to 400 yards.
I wouldn't put it on a carbine, but on a full sized rifle it works as a carry handle scope. I have not tried it on a flattop; I probably would not put an ACOG on a flattop due to the plethora of available sights for that mounting system.
