Not to highjack the thread but I recently bought a MagPul CTR package from Grant for my build using a BCM midlength upper. The package came with an H buffer. I plan to try it in my S&W first and see how it runs there. If it works well, what if I simply swap the two buffers? I have read some recommend the CAR buffer with a middy. I realize it of couse this can vary between guns and I figured on buying another buffer next time I order anyway. Just curious.

I run "H" buffers in my middys. (All BCM) never had a problem. I dont own a carbine buffer. All H, or H2's.
