Yes, I said what I meant (H2). I don't know of ANYONE that knows anything about AR's that recommends a carbine buffer in an AR with a carbine gas system (FYI).
The S&W (along with BM, DPMS, RRA, OLY, etc) have gas ports well above the mil-standard of .063. This is why I suggest an H2 or even an H3 buffer.
One of the reasons (IMHO) for the large gas ports is because these manufacturers believe that the people buying their guns are going to be shooting the cheapest (read under pressured ammo) available and they don't want to get CS calls asking why their bolt won't lock back.
