I think NOVA was a more deluxe model of a ChevyII. Same idea as an Impala or Malibu
That might have been the first year or close to it.
My first car was a 1967 Chevelle Malibu SS 396. Close ratio 4 spd, 3:73 Positraction, Daytona tuned suspension, Tahoe Turquoise, Black interior, Royal Wide Oval Red Line tires, AM radio, bought brand new in Jan 1968 from Washburn Chevrolet, Santa Barbara, CA, for the princely sum of $2560.00.

I think I've seen 3 or four G8s down here. GTOs have gotten very rare with only being produced for 3 years, plus the superficiality of the area and they are "old" now.

Interestingly I've seen something like 5 Chevy Trailblazer SS lately.

My concern with the G8 is the same as it was with the GTO; parts. I had a windshield guy tell me one time that if mine broke it was a month to get a new one and it was three times or more than any other windshield. The rarity of the car plus it being Australian worked against me.

I'd love a Grand Cherokee SRT8. At least in that case there is a lot of parts compatibility with the standard version.

I get to see a black G8 everyday. It drives by the house at the same time. Very sharp car. It's the GT model. Nice car.

The 09 CTS-V is highly intriguing as well but for the cash, I'll wait for a used one in a few years.
Look I still like it. I love those style of cars. It's kind of a Alstralia v8 supercar thing. Full bodied car with lots of HP. I mean how can you go wrong. I would get the 6 speed version to. Call me stupid.......uh I guess I get called that a ton.....opps

I love the LS series motors. SO much potential. Granted it's no LS7 they are putting in the new ZR1 corvette--------675 HP.

Oh yeah I got a little side tracked, it is hard to justify the extra cash for the GXP, buuuuuttttttt, if I could I would.
