    Sweet Challenger SloaneRanger!

When I turned 17 the first car i bought myself was a 71 Buick Skylark. It started with a sb 350 then upgraded to a 455 and now I just installed a ZZ502.

First vehicle was a '78 Chevy 4x4, rootbeer brown metallic paint and white mag wheels that my dad gave me. Drove it through high school until I threw a rod on the highway and the engine caught fire

Had a '64 Falcon for a few years in college, and had a '92 LX Mustang for ~1 week last year (bought it as a project and sold it to my neighbor when I thought I was going to have to move for work). We didn't move, and I get to see my neighbor tweaking on it every weekend

Currently driving an '05 Honda Civic - not the most exciting thing on four wheels but it's a great commuter.

Photo is from ~1996, I was a contract nerd with FoMoCo's Advanced Engineering Center in Dearborn doing NVH work. Got to see lots of cool stuff. A much thinner me in the hot seat of the Ford Indigo concept:

    I really miss that job...

Daily driver: 2002 BMW 325i Sport

Not so daily driver (but my obvious favorite ) :

Winter months in Colorado sort of require me to garage it.

Some of my favs were my 99 Acura Integra GSR (felt like a motorcucle, great fun to drive), my '05 Acura TL 6 spd (very luxurious but fast), and my 96 Jeep Cherokee 6 cylinder 4wd (monster offroad).

Worst car I ever owned was a Chevy Beretta. Defective door hinges and paint primer. Their customer service admitted to me that the primer was defective but wouldn't replace it. There was a bulletin out about the door hinges but not a recall. Piece of shit.

Currently driving a Dodge Dakota V8 4wd. Shitty gas mileage but decent truck for a union made vehicle. Wish it was a Toyota or a Cummins.

First vehicle: '91 Chevy S-10 Blazer. 4.3L engine (excellent engine), auto transmission (reliable transmission). 250k miles before retirement. Serves as the woods truck now, running the trails and such we have cut on our property.

Current vehicle: '99 Chevy Silverado 1500. Beautiful truck, got it with 110,000 miles on it, have put 34,000 miles on it since I got it two years ago. Only problem is we've had a spot of transmission trouble, but I think that's fixed now. I hate poor design...

Next vehicle will surely as hell not be a GM, what with their demands for a bailout and very poor managment, not to mention poor build quality. I think they have the best build quality of the Big Three, but that ain't really saying much...

Toyota if I can afford it next time. I'd love to have an older Landcruiser..., but would be very pleased with a Tundra or Tacoma...

I hear that Toyota will supposedly be bringing heavier trucks to market, with diesels. Can't wait if this is true...
