At least he didn't disgrace the MOH winners at the ball with his presence.

    Indeed.

I think Clinton was anti-military. I think Obama is simply indifferent. We'll see if this indifference translates into expanding or shrinking the military.

i feel the exact opposite, actually...

i met President Clinton twice while I wore a uniform, and he was very respectful to everyone he encountered both times.....honestly, the impression I got was that he was a little jealous of some of the men and women surrounding him that had devoted their lives in that manner....he was certainly liberal, I don't think he was anti-military....

Obama I don't think "gets" the military at all....I think they are as foreign to him as fidelty was to Slick Willie....

Perhaps you met him later in his term. Initially, they (Bill & Hillary) banned uniformed military in the White House and he initially would not learn how to salute properly. Perhaps even the Clintons can change for the better.

The actions of his administration regarding the military certainly didn't convey that respect. Remember all that "peace dividend" stuff?

Clinton is reported to be an extremely charming individual in person. He's a consummate politician.

Indeed, If I remember correctly his nick name was "Slick Willy."

I am sorry that our President is so thoughtless.

Sending Ol' Joe, now that is disrespectful. Don't worry, BHO will start to appreciate the military more when they save his chestnuts (or are they coconuts)?
