sad isn't it. Can't find one of these rifles in DD's home state. I wonder if Polite Society will be carrying them?

Daniel Defense is only a phone call away.

I know that Mark from Polite Society was at the SHOT show, whether he saw the DD M4's on display, I don't know, he was pretty busy hanging out at the Advance Armaments booth. I also ran into a salesman from American Classic Marksman gun store and range, maybe he saw the guns or maybe he didn't care. Let's hope they were smart and place a huge order.

Maybe when mine comes in via another FFL dealer, I'll take it to a few gun stores and convince them to order some.

For those of you who actually have experience with these, how do they compare to the Charles Daly's? It seems to me thay would be equivalent quality but DD has a rail. Anything else of importance?
(Looking at the specs makes them look very similar).

The rail alone would run at least $300 as an add on option. The Daniel Defense also has an enlarged and beveled magazine well and for those that cared, the curved trigger guard that is now a very popular item. The DD fixed rear sight looks very nice also.

I wouldn't feel outgunned if I had to choose the Charles Daly. I have their lower and it's very good and attractively priced at the time.

Thank you. That's about what I had come up with but the larger magazine well might be a significant advance, if it functions as well as a 1911 bevelled mag well.

Today at lunch, I bought a DD M4 at GT Distributors in Rossville GA. It's a pretty nice setup right out of the box. The build quality is excellent, with one of the cleanest- looking upper and lowers I've ever seen. M16 BCG with all the goodness you'd expect. The MOE stock is an upgrade - and it's tight and rattle free on the tube. One of the things I like best is the lightness of the rifle, while still having all that rail out front. Beveled mag well is a real winner, too. I paid $1499.00 and I'm very pleased with that, in this funky market. I'll let you know how it shoots tomorrow afternoon.

DD M4 in Stock at Rainier Arms

Just ordered one. They have several more in stock. So far, they have been extremely nice to deal with.

And here she is from plain to accesorized:

    Front QD sling slot:

Rear QD sling mount and DD BUIS:

Old trusty Aimpoint ML2 on Larue mount:

Streamlight TLR-1 light mounted at 12 o'clock and my cut off view of the VFG, the light switch is easily manipulated by my short thumb using the high hold:

    and finish:

Well, I'm not quite done. I'm waiting for a "male sling plug" and a new Blue Force Gear Victory sling. I'll be at the range zeroing the rifle in and give it a quick work out this weekend.

Does anyone know if or when they will start selling parts from the gun? I really want another BUIS and a VFG to go on my LMT. I guess I'm a dork but I want them to be as close to each other as possible.
