    Protective coating

I am pretty close to being done with my new build and I am going to spray it with Krylon Camo (FDE & Brown). What I am wondering is what is out there that I can apply in conjuction with the Kyrlon that will help the kyrlon from chipping or wearing off but still maintain a flat sheen so there will be limited glare

I'm not aware of anything to keep it protected more other than a clear coat, but doubt that would hold up at all. The Krylon will hold up ok, will scratch and under high heat will sheen a bit. But, for 3 or so a can, it's cheap.

You might want to think about Duracoat and be done with it. If you don't want to do it yourself have someone like Hoosier Gun Coat do it for you. They did one of my guns.
