Thread: CAN SOMEONE POST A PIC OF A LOWER 1/3 CO WITNESS AND A ABSOLUTE

    This is a very informative thread. Thanks much for the pics, people. Now...do you suggest shooting the carbine without an optic attatched BEFORE deciding which optic to go with? I've read in places where it's suggested that one should learn to use the irons before fiddling with an RDS.

    I'd love to be able to take a class soon after getting the rifle, using just irons, then move up to an RDS. Gotta look around my area for tac carbine courses.

    As long as it's not a low-light course, why not. If you have to shoot a low-light portion you'd be at a a serious disadvantage and could detract from learning. On the other hand, you will get a better idea of the advantages of an RDS over iron sights especially in those conditions.

    Does anybody have a pic of a Larue fixed buis behind an Eotech?
    I have been considering this combo of Larue BUIS and eotech on a Larue Eotech riser mount. Does anybody run this set up?If you do how do you like it? I am worried that the fixed rear BUIS will be to much clutter in my sight pic for me.

    Thanks that does help me out some just wish I could see what it would look like with an eotech.

    Yes lower 1/3 with eotech using larue fixed buis.
