WHAT ARE YOU USING FOR A BUFFER H2/H IN YOUR CARBINES

Just wondering what everybody is using for a buffer. I have a SMITH M&P15 and was told that the H2 buffer works well in it because SMITH uses a little bigger gas tube than others. I also heard that SMITH is going to start putting H2 buffers in all there production rifles from the factory.

An H buffer should work well for you with a S&W if you're shooting a lot of 5.56mm NATO pressure ammo. If you're using a sound suppressor a lot I'd then recommend an H2.

The gas tubes they use are standard CAR length gas tubes. What you're referring to is the size of the gas port.
