    AR Pistol

Well since this is the AR pistol forum I figured I'd throw this in here.
Just got through building it a few days ago. SBR's are hard to get signed for around here so I went with another pistol.
A fun little range toy nothing serious, not my go to gun or anything just something fun to play with.
I wanted to do something a little different this time, I had a 7-1/2 before and it was ok.
I decided to go with a 10.5 this time. Removed the FSB and replaced it with a low profile block (which wasn't quite low profile enough, had to do a litte finessing to get it to fit), a Samson MRFX-MX midlength rail, and I decided to try one of those levang compensators this time to see what it does.Got a pistol buffer kit from RB Precision.I went with the S.P.O.T. since I wanted a red dot for it. With YHM flip sights fron and rear.
Haven't gotten to shoot it yet but hopefully this weekend.
    Well here it is.

And a pic from the muzzle end,

I've toyed with getting AR pistol for over a year now, but keep hearing about reliability problems. Anyone out there have one thats put lets say several hundred / 1,000 rounds thru theirs without problems?

Not to ding the projects above, they look nice, and if they are reliable, Im jealous.

    AR PISTOL

I use the Noveske Diplomat 7.5" + Krink on a mega lower. I use Cproducts SS mags.

First range outing was 230 rounds of xm193. all 6 mags wouldntloci back the bolt or lock it back at the carrier/ not far enough to strip a round. The Brownells magazine I had had significantly more spring tension than the C products so I replaced the C products springs with Wolf XP mag springs. BUT actually the real problem is the Enidine Buffer. In a static system where the weapon is shouldered that buffer might compress , but the stockless pistol wont allow it. Pulling back the charging handle the force required to compress the buffers hydraulics is maybe 4 times the force of just the Tubbs CS action spring.

So I ordered an H3 buffer from GandR today.

Other than that fed flawlessly. My Eotech 552 ran out of elevation (down) sent it back and they sent me a new one that works.

for Irons U use 2 pri front flip ups ....a XS big dot for the front and the rear is a KNS duplex aperture which is mounted just past the barrel nut so I can focus on the duplex if I need to. this set up is like the "Eotech " of Irons. Like a Spider Web MG sight.
