Not sure yet. I may keep the gun as is for "investment" reasons or who knows. Then again by the time I get home, they may have banned painting "assault rifles" since it makes them more stealthy.

Mark,

My wife picked up the carbine today at SGC and she said that all the people who were walking by stopped to look at it and they all were asking if they were selling them. Since she joined up there was also no transfer fee. My wife who is not a real big gun person said it was impressive.

Here's a pic of the new DD carbine. I am curious though as to why the castle nut is not staked. Does this particular attachment not need it? Anyone else have one that isn't staked?
