i scored a 2MOA C3 from binoculars.com for $324.00 2 months ago and slapped it on an ultimak mount on my AK. it's great, i see no point unless your a navy seal to need extreme water proofing of the other models. and the battery life is a silly reason to shell out $2-300 more for the other models. i can buy a wheelbarrow full of batteries with the money i saved on this compared to a M68. aimpoint must be rolling in the money they get from all the civilian customers that just have to get the m68, just because it gives their gun extra tacti-cool points. they're laughing all the way to the bank. i love it.

now i'll be the first one to shell out a few bucks more a quality product, but the c3 is just as tough, has enough waterproofing for practical use, has the same red dot, has nv capability(witch not many need), has fantastic battery life and it's an aimpoint, they dont make crap. it's the smartest buy in their line up. period. oh yea and it comes with a mount unlike many other models, cha-ching.

I agree, I had mine now for about 3 weeks and love it, I dont plan on sinking my AR in the lake or anything and it still has the same options as the rest and looks just like the rest and yea saving money these days is a good thing. GREAT RED DOT and yes its a AIMPOINT.
