I submitted an E-form 1 on 1/15/21 and got a “Pending/research” status because my model of lower wasn’t in their existing list of manufacturers apparently.
Yesterday 3/26/21 I finally got my “Submitted/In Process” email with the cover letter.
I had been informed that Pending Research was taking about three months. So I was glad it only took about two months in my case.
I intend to mail the cover letter and prints out on Monday.

That’s all I ever saw too. I really don’t understand why there are is such a disparaging amount of turnaround times. It’s like there’s staffers that don’t care and those that process them quickly and it’s just a matter which inbox your packet goes to.
