Do they say waiting on fingerprints or just pending.

My guess is that if the packet was incomplete when it arrives at the examiner or possibly before it will be either denied or sent back. I can't say because I use a trust not the CLEO route.

- 07/08/2009: Went "Pending"
- 07/14/2009: Mailed new Form 1 for registering my new KAC SR-15 lower as an SBR
- 07/20/2009: New Form 1 Received by NFA Branch
- 07/21/2009: New Form 1 Approved

Total amount of days from beginning to end: 79 Days

They say pending but the examiner can also add comments into the computer system.... The examiner added to mine that he is just waiting on the fingerprint analysis before approving...........

Mailed a Form 4 on 7/14

Check cleared on 7/21

and the real wait begins...

My dealer is getting Form4's back from January this month.
Looks like 6-7 month wait still.
