There is a fight, that began before any of us were ever born. It will continue, long after we have retired, moved on, and left this world. It is a fight for the soccer mom next door, your mailman, the guy that bags your groceries, and most importantly, it is a fight for your family. We are in a daily battle not for land, not for resources or colonial controls...we are in a fight for our very way of life

Purchased new Colt 6933 from Clyde Armory...process so far:

    Purchased: 4/16/09
Shipped out to my dealer: 5/20
    Delivered to my dealer: 5/23
Set up trust, notarized: 5/27 (on way to hospital to have baby)
Handed Form 4 back to dealer: 6/12
    Mailed packet to ATF: 6/13
no activity....apparently it was either lost or never got mailed
Re-send packet to ATF, after confirming it's not in their system yet: 8/7
    Check cashed:
    Approved:
    Received:
    Picked up rifle:
Magpul class where I won't be shooting my SBR: 9/29

Partially my fault as I really should have realized there was a problem sooner. Thanks to this thread through for showing that the check should have been cashed early on and causing me to check in.

SHIVAN- Looks like you've taken possession of some sweet guns recently! Wish I had the coin for a 556.

this is really just beyond nuts.
I'm told Noveske to a dealer is now at least 3 months for paperwork
