    Controller I talked to said they were doing mid May applications right now and would start on June soon. I just hope my dealer has my suppressor stamp back when I get home so I can pew pew on quieter terms.

    I agree with that assessment:

    I just heard the news from the NFA transfer status phone number. My dealer uses a police officer to handle all things NFA and it's possible that he's on travel or wasn't told about ATF forms coming back (assuming the forms actually left the ATF building of course).

    I called to check the status of a form 1 and 4. The guy I spoke with (who was a total dick) said I shouldn't even expect to see my checks cashed for about four months, and that they are currently in the September stack.
