Just as a data point...

Was talking to Scott @ THSF last night about a transfer I had incoming, and he said he got a stack of approved forms back yesterday that were all mailed 7/12/16. Still has a bunch from prior to that he's waiting on, and was surprised to see them come back.

I'm getting the impression that maybe they have certain people assigned to certain forms, etc., and we just went through Spring Break. Lots of folks take leave and go out of town for Spring Break. This might be why some are coming in and others are not. I just hope they put a big dent in to things before they start taking off for the summer.

I called the NFA branch last week to check on a Form 4 suppressor I purchased on July 6. They said it went pending on July 18 and they were working on submissions from the first two weeks in July.

Thank you. Hopefully they are now getting to my Form 1 (trust) that I submitted during that time.

They told me the same thing, but for some inexplicable reason, they reported the pending date later than previously reported. I am thinking that the person answering the phone just read something wrong and didn't know. I asked her about it, but she didn't know why.

I've just resigned my self to the fact that getting this stamp is gonna take a F*&^% year. ATF is amazing.

I realize there is no rhyme or reason to the exact order which applications are processed but it is really frustrating to hear submissions a week or more after yours to be approved.

I hope ATF gets things squared away with the new reorg.
