Mail is super slow these days. I have form 4 mailing to ATF, it has been 3 weeks still hasn’t cash yet. Usual for it to cash it’s about 7-9 days

I don’t think it’s the mail. All other USPS mail has been on time if not a little faster than usual.

Just checked with ATF, my Octane45HD was approved May 6th. 304 days after check cashed. Just waiting for the stamp to arrive at the dealer.

My spectre22 and Octane9HD are still pending.

Q Thunder Chicken was approved May 18 2020, 227 days pending since Oct 4 2019.

Form 1 submitted 4/20/20 and approved on 5/13/20. Individual and submitted everything from the comforts of my own home. Fingerprint kit from Amazon and selfie pic (even though they say not to) on my iPhone.

Good to know these are still moving fast, I’m past 30 days and will be trying to call the NFA branch after the Holidays.

Form 1 approved 4/21. Have not received it yet in the mail. Was told I have to wait 45 days to get a copy sent out. If 45 days comes and go and no form how long does it take them to send out a copy?......and don’t say 45 days lol

Got an email last night (8:30PM EDT) asking for a picture of the lower I submitted a form 1 for on 04-30. Replied with a picture and got a reply back this morning at 7:00AM from the same agent telling me it would be disapproved because I chose the wrong manufacturer model number (M4 instead of M4A1).

Emailed ATF agent back asking if I resubmit today could I replace the old one with the new one and not lose a month. Was told yes.

I asked if she was able to check out the other two that I submitted and let me know if I needed to change anything. Sure enough, I screwed up all of them.

The agent was really nice and helped me resubmit all three and approved them all right away! Three stamps in one day with one clocked at only 15 days!!!

Turns to find out that these agents are not really treated very nicely when dealing with the majority of the public and being nice can make a huge difference!


ETA: I used home made fingerprints and had zero issues.

Dang....I had to re-submit and go to the back of the line. Should hopefully be next week for my eform 1.

Now if the one approved stamp will make it to the dealer and they get the other two done soon then my 3 promo cans will be home.

Well dang...just got an email for my approved eform1..after 7pm central time on a Saturday. 26 days after my resubmit. It is dated 5/30 so they are working Saturdays.

Time to get my lower engraved and change the pistol brace for a carbine buttstock.
