It seems the SS Kiosk is the most convenient way to do the prints and keep a digital copy so that's part of the hold up. The local shop with a Kiosk isn't open on Sundays or Mondays and I haven't made the time to go on Saturday. I assume once I do that and get the needed info it'll be fast.

Buy an Ink Pad from Amazon
Order print cards from the BATFE
Take a selfie in your bathroom with your phone
Roll your own prints (I go so fast I doubt mine are even legible)
Get a USPS Priority envelope
Complete the eForm application for all of your lowers
Print the USPS label at your house and drop the cover letter and print cards off in a blue box.
22 days later get an email with all your stamps.
I’ve done 6 or 7 applications in 2020 alone. Takes about 30 mins.

I went slow and careful on my first set of prints. I wanted them perfect. The second (and most recent) were... less than perfect. Basically did them slowly, but not entirely not-carelessly, had to redo one of them because I totally f___ed it up, but I was expecting an email or a phone call telling me to send in another set - and I got the second Form 1 back a week sooner than the first.

I didn't know you could get the cards from them. I assume you have to send a new fingerprint card every time you form 1 a lower? I assumed with e-file there was an easy way to get some digital fingerprints that you can just upload every time but this doesn't sound bad.
