SBR E Form 1. Filed electronically 1/26/2021. Approved 2/28/2021. The 4th E Form 1 I have done, all approved within similar time frame.

I called Monday to check on my F4 trust status. The lady said they are at 7-10 months for approvals. I hit 7 months since check cashed this week. Finger crossed. (The wait time sucked, but She was actually really nice and pleasant to talk to.)

Finally got the email that my check had been cashed. I knew the ATF portion would be long but was not at all prepared for how long it took to get here so I’m frustrated.

Form 4 Trust KAC QDC
Purchased from out of state dealer: 18 NOV 20
Local dealer received it and notified me: 16 JAN 21
Tax stamp purchased through SS and all initial requirements met on my end: 24 JAN 21
SilencerShop documents sent and returned: 3 FEB 21
SilencerShop mailed form 4: 24 FEB 21
Check cashed by ATF: 4 MAR 21

I had most of the requirements met before the cab arrived aside from fingerprints and a tax stamp purchased which is why there was a gap from 16 to 24 JAN. Obviously I could’ve done those earlier and trimmed a week off but still didn’t think it’d take this long.

And my dealer shut down their rifle lanes after I ordered the suppressor so I can’t even shoot it.

Form 3 to dealer: 8/21/2020
Stamp Cashed: 9/10/2020
Approved: 2/1/2021
Stamp at Dealer: 2/24/2021

Cashed to approved in 145 days. That's the shortest wait I've ever experienced on a Form 4.

I started a form4 on an SBS in January and the ATF still has not charged the credit card. Apparently they don't snag the funds right away like they used to or so I am told.
