Official NFA Transfer Times Thread

Please elaborate. I've been submitting NFA forms for 15 years and have never encountered this.

I went to my local sheriffs office to be fingerprinted. The first finger print card I submitted was a FD-248 and the current accepted version is FD-258. The ATF kicked it back for this, I researched it and they do specify using the FD-258 form. Submitted the correct version and about 40 days later was approved.

Not sure if you are near a silencershop kiosk in a gun store, but you can do your prints on it and when you need a print card they will send you 2 copies for a small fee.
Not sure how big the place is but it's really convenient.

So I've got a pending eForm 1 (my first) and I got the confirmation from the USPS this morning that my fingerprint cards were delivered to ATF this morning (I sent them via certified mail). I checked my eForms account and there was nothing indicating on there that they have received my prints (USPS shows they were delivered around 10:00am and I checked my account around 6:00pm). Is this something that they update under my pending application, or am I just to assume that they received them?

It’s all good. Stamp was approved in 10 days. That’s got to be some kind of record.
