maybe i'm chasing the holy grail, but does anyone have actual experience with a mount configuration that will give you a true return to zero, after dismount and mount?
i've drilled, tapped and mounted enough bases to know that I hadn't found a setup yet that gave me a true return to zero. Maybe i haven't looked in the right places; so i'm tossing this out to see if someone can point me in the right direction.
reasoning??? If i need to quickly add a magnified scope, could i do it with a high degree of retained accuracy? This is logically assuming the scope was properly sighted prior to being dismounted. This would be on a BCM M4 upper.
anyone have words of wisdom for me?
Thanks
