    Mutt coming together, BCG question

piecing together my first build, so far i have:

RRA Stripped Lower (LPK not installed yet, may be grabbing a Geiselle trigger)
VLTOR MUR w/ fwd assist and deflector
    Anvil Arms M4 16" barrel w/o FSP
LaRue 12" handguard and front/rear folding sights (will be adding Aimpoint optic)
    LMT Charging handle
Magpul grip and still dwelling on the stock but leaning towards the Magpul UBR
    various other parts, too.

really my question comes down to the BCG. i have been seeing full groups at local gunshows over the last 6 mos or so and other than they've gone up in price a bit i cannot get any straight answers as to who manufactures them other then "they are standard mil-spec." the poor staking looks like my BM did before getting a good stake job. i would like to wrap up my build before the warm weather gets here to stay for some comps, should i just nab one of these BCG's, stake it, and wait until the market calms down to get a better BCG in there and use this as a spare?

    thanks in advance.

I would wait on a M16 BCG until you find one you know the origins of. LMT, BCM, CMT, Young Mfg. all sell great BCG's. They shouldn't be marked up either.

You will probably find a BCG before you find a UBR.

Don't waste the money on a $280 trigger/hammer if you have a regular chrome-lined barrel. You can save $100 by just getting an LMT 2-stage or save $200 and just get a single stage trigger.

I've been getting my MP BCGs (AR15 & M16 styles) from BravoCompanyUSA.com and Young Manufacturing Company.

I've really really becoming partial to the Young Mfg Chrome BCGs; they are VERY smooth and easy to break in, as well as very easy to clean. AND, you can't beat their prices!!! They now have a 3-week backlog, but superior customer service and excellent quality. I highly recommend them.

    If you are still looking...
One of the guys (C4Grant) here runs a shop that offers their own line of parts, including a bolt carrier group. It comes in M16 (F/A style), looks like good quality, and is in stock right now. I ordered one Monday, and it shipped yesterday, so I can't attest to the performance just yet.
