    Rem 700 actions

    hello,

I have read alot here but haven't posted. I have been looking around for a Rem 700 action and was wondering if anyone knows who has the best deal around on one. Want one to start a custom build. I am waiting on Delton so the M4 is at a standstill.

The AR build is a Double Star lower with Delton's M4 kit.

I am a L.E.O. in Florida and love the site. Tnx in advance.

    Red.

I've got a POS Rem 700 ADL in .243 I would be willing to sell for $350 plus shipping. The receiver is perfect for a build, although it's got some surface rust. The stock and barrel aren't worth keeping, although the bore is fine.

If you want a .308 Remmy 700 that you'll later upgrade that is a good deal is the Rem 700 .308 SPS Tactical. It's a 20" heavy barrel with a Hogue overmolded stock and it has their econo finish like the 870 Express shotguns have. They typically sell for around $600.

    wow

I would take RYANS deal if I were you. Anyone would be hard pressed to find a better deal than 350 on a rem SA

A place like Snipers Hide or other similar precision rifle focused site will many times have actions for sale at reasonable prices in the members sales forum.

i would buy a surgeon round action

look to spend around $750 for this, but you will be ahead of the game if you bought a rem 700, trued it, added bolt knob, side bolt release etc

my buddy just got one in, and its real nice

+1 on The Hide, I think there were 3 barreled actions for sale this week.

Post pics when you get'ir done.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

+1.. your in the same boat money wise after all that, and you still have a remy action.. why not get one of the best right off the bat?
