    Armor plates.

I remember there being a thread over on the G&R forum about armor plates. Did any of you in that thread ever get any? If so, what did you end up with and from where? I am looking to get some very soon. I'd prefer stand alone plates.

I have two sets of level 3 steel plates, one is made by http://www.interamer.net/
it came with ballistic nylon covering, also front has kevlar spall guard.

That being said, dont buy from them, a fellow member recently tried to purchased plates like I'd got from them, but istead they just sent him plates without ballistic nylon cover and now kevlar spall guard.

My second set of plates came from this company http://www.internationalbodyarmor.co...TitaniumPlate/
What you see is what you get, I had to apply my own kevlar spall guard.

I wear these in conjunction with level 3A panels.

I bought Level 3 Stand Alone Steel Plates from BulletProofMe.com. Excellent service and prices, very fast shipping. I'm very pleased with the plates.
