Quality of Fulton Armory USGI AR bolt?

Does anyone have any experience with the USGI bolt sold by Fulton Armory ?
Called today and the girl on the phone could only tell me that they were USGI, couldn't answer if they were HPT/MPI.

I am pretty sure Fulton buys their stuff from DPMS.

Confirmed at one time by Fulton. Most small parts were DPMS.

Credit where credit is due, Fulton does appear to take care in selection and assembly however.

I got one a month or so when nothing else was available. Big mistake. It appears to be DPMS or some thing along those lines., I had to re stake it, and they charged me like 28.00 shipping. Never Again. For anything.

On my personal guns I only use bolts from Colt, LMT or BCM for good reason.

Now you guys got me worried. I just ordered a bolt from those guys. Not the entire carrier group, but just the bolt. What's wrong with DPMS Bolts?

If you look around here you will see that overall QA/QC at DPMS sucks and their bolts are not HP/ MPI inspected or tested.

The only AR bolts I've actually seen break in a class were DPMS bolts. Since I started taking training classes almost 15yrs ago, I've seen 3 of them break at the cam hole. The owners said they had fairly low round counts, too. Of course, this doesn't mean your DPMS bolt is guaranteed to shit the bed on the first mag. It may be just fine. But you'll never know since it hasn't been tested or properly QC'd.

A lot of guys here have a lot more experience than me, but that was enough of a statistical sampling for me to avoid them at all costs. It's one reason I stocked up on a dozen BCM bolts over the past couple of years.

Bolts I bought in the past from them were AO made bolts. Some MPA marked and some not marked.

I bought a bolt from Fulton in late 2004. It looked nice to me (for all that means), and was marked MPF. I've put about 5K rounds on it with no complaints in a Colt 20" A2 upper.

No idea how their bolts are now, though.

Edited to add - if I needed another bolt and couldn't get ahold of a Colt, LMT, or BCM, I'd buy another Fulton bolt unless I heard something negative about their more recent bolts.
