word...that does look good. does it still have traces of black under the rail? if not, how did your friend color in the aluminum sections that can be seen through the thin slots under the rail?

    Talking

i have decided to keep my CASV-ELT tan so I can quicky identify which upper is mounted. i am building a 300BLK upper using a black CASV-M.

so tan upper will go with my tan mags with .223 and the black upper will use the black mags loaded with 300BLK.

but thanks so much for the info.

Does anyone ever see the the CASV-EL come up for sale anymore? I just seems like around 4 - 5 years ago, all demand and discussion around the CASV-EL suddenly died. Now, there's a huge resurgence in demand and people out there like myself in search of these and willing to pay a premium. These rails were so innovative at the time of their release.

I have one that is, presently, on a dedicated 22LR upper but I'm thinking of putting it on a Colt upper that I am putting together.

    Would you consider selling it?
