    Hornady and RCBS dies

Are hornady dies and rcbs dies interchangable? I am new to reloading, so I was trying to get some info on this.

Yeah. I run RCBS, HOrnady & Dillon dies all in my Rockchucker and my XL650. Even use the Lee Factory Crimp die too.

Most dies will work in most presses with standard 7/8-14 die threads. There are always exceptions where a die may not be threaded enough and for your given press may not adjust up and down enough (I hear old old Lee dies are like this in a Dillon press though more recent ones are fine), or like the RCBS competition seating die use a side window that does not work on thicker platform/toolhead presses.

I run Redding, RCBS, Hornady, and Dillon dies in my Dillon presses. I also have some Lee factory crimp but they are not yet installed anywhere
